THE EFFECT OF MONONITRO-GUAJACOL-NATRIUM FOR VARIOUS ALOPECIA

Abstract
|
|
|
The authors have experience of treating 26 patients suffering from various types of alopecia with the application of "Hair cion" (major component: mononitro-guajacol-natrium) and the results were as follows:
1. Curation effectiveness rate on the cases of "alopecia areata" was 73% and the average treatment period was 35 days.
2. On the other types of alopecia, the curation effectiveness rate was 50%.
3. It would not be safe to draw any assertive conclusion in view of the comparatively small number of cases of patients and short term administration attempted at this experience; however, M.G.N. is recommended as a significantly effective local therapeutic agent in the treatment of various types of alopecia patients.
